Installed without a hitch. I have a dual boot machine (an old Dell PowerEdge 400SC) with Windows XP Pro SP3 on one SATA 500Gb drive and Windows Vista Ultimate on the other matching SATA drive. No issues in the install on either operating system and device manager recognized these as real r2-422 ports!

Could not make it work in Win XP environment. Ended up with StarTech RS422 to USB converter instead. That works great.
