This 8 port card is based on a SystemBase chip. You need to download the driver build package from the SystemBase website. But it won't build on Kernel Version 5.15. Numerous compile errors in the code.The docs with the driver say that it is Version 23 and was tested on Kernel version 5.3.That corresponds to Ubuntu 19.10.Anything later than that and you are out of luck.The similar Startech 4 port card is based on MosChip and is supported by the kernel - no driver needed.
