I've had this style of steamer basket for many years. This one is by far the best!!!Love that there are legs underneath the basket to raise it higher than most.I like how it fits several different pots and also comes w/ a small hook for easy lifting.Highly recommend!!!

But otherwise It fits my other pots. I like that it folds up neatly and has the little S handle to pull it out of the pot easily without hurting my fingertips. I also like the flat / non-scratching " feet's.

I wanted a steamer that sits higher so when I am steaming shrimp the water does not come up above the bottom of the surface and I end up boiling the ones on the bottom. This gives me that extra space I need. I also, the handle sits up higher so it is easier to pull out than my old steamer. And it folds up compactly.
