We use this in the Instant Pot, on the range top, and in the oven. I am sure we could use it for even more.IP: Use this to put your eggs on to hard boil them.Stove: obviously steaming of vegOven: Could not find the roasting rack and made a small pork roast on this. It might have looked a little funny, but it worked just fine.Washes up great, whether DW or by hand. Have used multiple times per week for nearly a year. This replaced one lost in the last move -- and this one is much better. The overlapping "leaves" of the steamer fit nicely and do not jam up or come out, and the ring in the center is solid and easy to grip.Would definitely purchase again.

OK I confess this is not the first one of these I have owned. The first was miss placed in a move, and I am now replacing it. If you’re looking for a aid to steam vegetables look no further. In my opinion, its performance has been the best tool aid in my kitchen arsenal when it comes to steaming vegetables. It’s telescopic design will allow it to fit every pot in your kitchen. Not to mention it has made it super easy on cleanup. This makes a perfect gift or if you enjoy cooking, make sure to add it to your arsenal.

Impressed by the opening and closing operation. Held size adjustments for different sized pots. And, the small size allows for opening small and medium cooking pots.

Bought this steamer to replace a similar one that lost a “leafâ€. This one seems to be made a bit stronger, and is just a bit stiffer too so it doesn’t just fall open when you put it down. Cleans easily too.

I like this steamer basket. So far, non of the leaves has fallen off. The edges on the metal are a little ragged, but not seriously so.
