I’ve had steamers in the past that break and are hard to lift out of boiling water. This one is designed to prevent getting burned with its handle in the middle which is so clever. Also it has feet to raise it above the water. Another clever and useful feature. It’s also sturdier than many others on the market. An A+ for design and function.

In theory, it's nice to able to use a stainless steam basket instead of the awkward silicone one I have for my non-stick pots. That said, while the legs are non-scratch, the top edges of the basket are not so beware.
