This iron is just ok. I had hopes that it would make a good travel iron, but I have too many issues with it. The handle does fold nicely for storage and it has a resting tray. It looks nice and has an easily understandable display. That's about all I can say that's good.First, the cord is WAY TOO SHORT. It's about 4 foot, if that. Even if you have an outlet right next to where you're using it, that's still not much room to move. They KNOW they made the cord too short because the instructions specifically include cautions about using the correct extension cord.I tested it on a hanging garment. The product description and the pictures say I should be able to use it at any angle with no issue. This was not my experience. It spit a lot of hot water out along with the steam making it borderline hazardous and also leaving my garment wet.I did not try using it to iron on a flat surface because I already have a very good iron for that purpose. I simply have no use for it that way.So, I was not at all pleased with this product. I can't use it as a travel iron unless I want to pack a large, heavy extension cord. I can't use it as a steamer unless I want to risk burns and suffer through wet clothes.I do not recommend this iron at all. It gets 2 stars only because it might be an ok normal iron and it has a relatively high wattage.

I used this to iron the cotton collar of a dress (a Wednesday style collared dress) and steam as well. The size is nice and it is easy to change the settings. It comes with a nice measuring cup but note: the cup lines go up to 50ml and it recommends keeping the tank under 120ml. I only did one cup full.It works well enough for small things but I could not imagine using it on something large like a button down shirt. It dripped hot water, which will discolor some fabrics. About a good 3-5 drips. I referred back to the instructions to see if I did something wrong but there doesn't appear to be anything in the instructions to troubleshoot leaks/drips.It worked well enough for my needs, though a standard iron would have given my dress collar more crisp lines. Still, for someone like me who only has a couple of small things to iron at any given time, it's fine. I don't want/need to store an ironing board, etc. It's a shame, I really wanted to take it traveling as my partner is an elite level ironer and is often disappointed by what the hotel/air bnbs offer for ironing but this will not be the solution.

This travel steamer is really nice and compact so it's easy to pack and take with you! I hate wearing crumpled up clothes and yet I also hate hanging up my clothes immediately after removing them from the wash...because I'm kind of lazy that way. This steamer heats up super quick and removes all the wrinkles quickly so it's not such a big deal. I don't have to drag out the ironing board and mess around with the iron and starch etc...I'm happy!

UPDATE 3/2: Took this on our trip and was seriously disappointed. 😞 After using the steam function, we quickly realized that when held upright/vertical (you know, the way you actually steam clothes), it spilled water everywhere. Not exactly what we had in mind for a quick touch-up.Turns out, there’s supposed to be a gasket/cover where you pour the water—but ours didn’t come with one. During our initial test, we only used it as a traditional iron, so we didn’t catch this issue until we needed to steam on the go.Dropping my rating to 2 stars—it technically works, but if you actually plan to steam upright, prepare for a mess**This compact travel steamer is a must-have for keeping my clothes wrinkle-free on the go. It’s ready to use right out of the box—just add water, plug it in, and you're set. I really like the different steam settings, which allow for adjustments based on fabric type. It’s functional, practical, and easy to pack, so I bring it on all my travels. Highly recommended!
