Very stable raised steaming platform for my 15 quart stockpot and 8 quart saute pan.Just tried it out for several pounds of Dungeness crab. The rack was very stable and elevated over a good amount of water. Easy to clean. Easy to remove from pot by sticking a chopstick in one of steamer hole and lifting rack out of deep pot. No scalding my hands. I will get another rack in a smaller diameter for my pressure cooker and other pots.

The steamer was great , it has 4 little legs that you can use to add some height and they are easy to take on and off the only issue was due to my pots not being tall enough and I was wanting to make some tamales which required me to make them standing up and for the lid to close very tightly .. if I were making short tamales or something else it would have worked just fine

This steamer is missing the legs that are supposed to be included to raise it above the floor of the pot. Without those, it is fairly useless.

This works well but was a bit small for my 23l Presto pressure cooker. I should have got the next size up!
