I like the price and assortment. The washers are very flat and seem slightly hardened. I used them to install a wall-mount faucet on a stainless steel deep sink backsplash. The mounting technique is to use the pipe threads to tighten the fittings on either side of the backsplash (clamping at the same time as the threads get tight) Truthfully - I can't think of a more practical way - but these washers will make the final adjustment easy.

These are great for shimming in any application where a big nut on a shaft is holding tapered roller bearings, like wheel bearings. These let you take every bit of play out of the bearing, without over-tightening the nut on the bearing. Just match the ID to your axle size, and they work perfectly.

Used these shims to adjust the front tapered wheel bearings and also the crankshaft timing gear. They were perfect! Having a range of thickness' made the job so easy.

I use these on my 2012 Harley Davidson Electra Glide to shim out my axle on my custom 21in front wheel and these gave me just the right amount of options to get the right tolerances.

when I ordered them it mentioned that these were hardened, but the package just said low carbon steel which is mild steel and not hardened. It still does the job fine for what I intended them for. If the stainless version is available, they would probably be a better choice since they would be a little harder material. A little lube on these things and they will work just fine.
