The trash can liner kept slipping of my outdoor garbage can. I secured it with this and no more bags slipping in the can!

The spring was not strong enough to pull the door shut or hold it closed. The door acted like nothing was even attached.

...Our farmhouse had wood screen doors and these were what closed them. 'Don't let the screen door slam,' Mom would yell from the kitchen as we hurried in from chores for lunch. It was a big farm, and in the barn was a table with maps of the crop areas, using long springs like these to hold them down on the planning table. Attaching this to my workbench to hold papers down. Brings back many memories, and will hold the instructions I am working for on a project handy. Been using a model T wrench, but that leaves marks.
