It definitely has some weight to it. I use it for squats with weight and it is very sturdy. It's good for the price and I highly recommend

I wanted something that provided me the ability to stretch my calves without putting my shoes on my walls, this product has done that.Pros • Good quality material very sturdy • The range it provides fits my needs and I believe most others as well. • Easy to change links to lower or increase angle. • Great grip with no dust off (at this time) • The price I paid ($31.92) made this a great deal in my case.Cons • Not the most beautiful looking thing but I believe the most wouldn’t care about that. • Has some weight to it, so be mindful to not drop it on anything you value.I believe this to be a solid product so far with no regrets of the purchase at this time. I will update this review if any issues arise with the product.

I love the sturdy feel of this slant board. It feels solid as a rock in all of the positions and doesn't flex or move. It is solidly constructed of all metal except for the four rubber feet which prevent it from sliding around. The full face grippy material covers the entire face, from edge to edge. If there's a downside, it's that it's easy to accidentally rub against the side of the board which peels the grip tape off the surface. If they had made the grip tape slightly smaller than the face of the board, it wouldn't get brushed off. So far, it still remains sticky enough that it's not an issue, but I may trim it a little to make it perfect. I like that the grip tape covers the entire surface, which gives you more options on where you place your feet. While I've used wooden boards before, this metal one feels like it will last forever.

This slant board is a case of great material selection and medium/mediocre execution. Fortunately, the weaknesses don't really undermine the strengths.Like other reviewers have mentioned, it's very stout and very stable. The surface is rock solid and grippy, and the feet are soft rubber than won't slide around. Lock nuts were used instead of cheap split washers, so you know it's designed to last. The adjustability is great. The welds are at best amateurish, but you don't see them when standing on the platform... The edges of the grip tape are sticky from the adhesive, so it would be nice if they found a way to tidy that up, as that's what you grab onto any time you move or adjust it. Maybe a thin trim piece sort of like door edge guard? The feet were quite wobbly on mine out of the box, but they can be threaded in or out individually to level it. I may add a thin washer to the one that was the furthest off, so it can be tightened down and not walk itself back in.I suppose a really, really skinny person could use it as a squat wedge, but the 13" width is an awkward in-between size. It's either generously large for one foot, or a real squeeze for both feet. However, instead of looking at it as wastefully wide for most uses, it could be viewed as generously stable.

Don't know why I never thought to get one for myself after using it in the gym 32million times. But here we are. Adjustments easy. Storage easy. Grip solid. Use it every day and love it. I get $thousands of joy every time I use this super inexpensive thing.

If you want to push yourself around at different angles - look no further. It will do so many angles. It’s very strong and collapses to very little (like a mouse)

The platform is very heavy duty, with 2 feet on it, it can support a lot of weight. However, if you're intending to use this with only one foot on the platform, it must be firmly planted in the center or the platform will rock to the side and become unstable, which is dangerous. The base of the platform is narrow and in the center. If you only want this for traditional barbell squats, it's great. If you wanted a versatile angled platform for other exercises, look elsewhere.

Quality built unit. Very heavy duty and stays in place when using. I chose the metal over the wood model for it being more sturdy. The only downside is that it is quite heavy and the edges are sharp. I already stubbed my toe on it and partially ripped the nail off. My own fault really for not wearing shoes when using. I may try to find some type of rubber/ plastic edging to prevent this from happening again. So just be careful. Quality slant board and would recommend so long as you wear shoes. Choose the wooden model if you like to be barefoot.
