This is good quality wire rope with a reasonable hook. Neither are overly spectacular but then again, none ever are. This is properly priced and I expect it will work for many years without issue.No Disappointment - Highly Recommended

I needed a new heavy duty winch cable to use on my farm, so I thought I would give this one a try. Excellent choice. This cable is very well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. This is a very tough heavy duty cable that should stand up to rough service. Long enough to handle most any job on the farm. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

17,637lbs of breaking strength says enough for me but I needed a replacement for my old winch so I chose this cable. I prefer a synthetic rope as far as safety and strength but the winch that is attached to my car trailer is steel. The clasp on the tow hook is in my opinion a little cheap but it is no big deal. For my use of pulling my car off and onto my trailer this cable will do, but if you are looking for some heavy duty recovery cable that pulls vehicles out of trouble then go with a heavier duty cable.

The cable is as thick as promised. It looks good and sturdy. It has a large hook attached to one side. Nothing on the other side. It is a good value

This winch replacement cable comes with a very heavy duty hook that swivels and it has a safety bail to prevent unhooking. The cable is 6x19 strands to give an almost 5000 pound weight rating and a more than 17,000 pound breaking rating.
