This came in to hold and support my husband's saw. It was super easy to put together and has very convenient wheels to help move around. Heavy duty and heavy! But the wheels make it so easily movable without much effort. Love this!

Like robotecks (see his review), I just received my stand with the same pieces missing. No MA-0116 (longer) mounting brackets, and no outlets included (even tho there is an opening in the end of the stand to accommodate them). The stand is unusable and will need to be returned if not corrected.Update 8/26/2017: Have worked with Protocol representative (Lindsey) with all concerns addressed, and parts replaced. In the end, it is an excellent stand and supports my 12" Ryobi compound sliding miter saw very nicely. Several of the threaded holes were a bit coarse (not milled well) which created minor damage to the thread on a knob handle, but that was replaced immediately. The electrical outlet is only available on the professional model, but after having used the stand, it would have little use anyway. To address another comment, the legs next to the wheels can be stored first so stand can be wheeled with saw attached, but it's easier to remove a heavy power tool (mine weighs close to 40#). If you have a relatively smooth floor, cupped furniture sliders work quite well.Overall, it is a very good stand at a good price with excellent customer service.

Very nice small portable stand. I put my DeWalt 12" compound saw on it and it's great. I like the wheels and it makes moving it around nice. I'm a contractor and have been using this for a couple months now and it's holding up just fine. Also, this stand has the same size rails as a ryobi, so we can interchange our saws if need be.

Arrived with a clamp on the saw mount broken, also the side rollers aren't rollers just tube solid in place which would be okay if they didn't tip slightly to the side at about 10° with no way to correct.

I am a contractor and first I want to say that I got rid of my 12 inch sliding mitre saw and purchased a cordless 7.25 sliding mitre saw and got this stand. It is a really nice stand and has quite a few good features the best being how compact it is. It is very sturdy and really my only complaint is it is very heavy like as heavy as the really long yellow and black ones. I was going for size in the back of my truck and so it does the job but it is heavy.

Plenty of steel, but not enough quality. I bought a dewalt table saw stand for same price that was much better quality. I Wish that dewalt made this style of miter saw stand. Legs stress the frame when they fold and don’t fit in the cavity without bending. One lock doesn’t engage. Cheap wheels and retainer clips. Won’t stand upright with saw installed. Work support arms weak and sloppy fit.

But I didn't need it. I was captivated by the photo of the wheel on the unit. I had visions of wheeling my saw from place to place as needed. It doesn't work like that. I have to take the saw off, fold up the apparatus, and carry it to where I want it to go. My old saw-stand would do that. This station is easier to unhitch from the saw than my old one, but that's a minor convenience. But this has chrome wood holders, snappy looking red trim, gray powder coated main body. It looks nice on the job, so I'll keep it.
