This product didn't work for my mower because the starter threads came pinched. The bolt that was supplied worked with my existing drag lines but none of my existing bolts would thread on. Returned and bought official John Deere parts and those worked.

When installing, I had to make a hardware store run to find the nylon lock M10-125 nuts for the tie rods. I would advise looking a bit further to make sure they are included in the set.

Fit good and worked well for about 3 hours then the ball joint failed.

The pinion gear is so soft that it wears very easily. The tie rod arms grind at the joints and 2 nylon bushings are provided when only one is needed. One of them should be replaced by a shoulder bolt that usually has to get cut off to change the gear plate. This makes everything useless unless you have a replacement shoulder bolt.
