Kind of weak construction. Feels like you can easily break the knob off.

edited review (my original review is at the bottom):This device did not last two months....and I drive my car only three days per week. The fitting that secures the knob's screw/post to my steering wheel is made of chrome-colored plastic, not metal. The fittings' edges wore down. No edges means no pocket for the screw/post. Now the fitting will not stay in place on my steering wheel. It is useless.end the edited review====================================pros---it works---it is inexpensive---the spinning knob is large enough to provide a satisfying grip; sometimes these knobs are too small or flat, and I never feel like I have a solid grip; this knob, however, is grippablecons---I had to tighten down the screws severely to keep the knob's post from wiggling. This is only a problem if you are installing it over a leather steering wheel cover.....which I did. Because it is so tight, the steering wheel clamp cuts into my steering wheel cover. (The clamp has some edges that dig into the cover. Maybe I can file away some edges and minimize the damage to the cover.) *But there is no problem if you install the spinner directly on an uncovered steering wheel.

The part that clamps to the wheel is technically metal, maybe some type of chrome, but the rest is plastic. The pics and description make it look like the center of the knob is at least stainless steel, but it isn't.. I don't think there's any stainless steel in this.The pro is that technically functional, and fairly cheap, but the cons are that it feels light, and it also doesn't have a smooth action; there are definitely spots where it feels like it's catching or rubbing on something internal.I'm going 2 stars because the description sort of blows it out of proportion. Maybe 3 (average) if you don't care that it's mostly plastic.
