I had to take a few minutes myself to learn the rules fort his game, but once I did it was quite fun and should be easy and challenging enough for a child to learn too. Good quality and size and fairly easy to clean if needed.

Had low expectations for this item given its plasticky nature and mixed reviews, but took a shot in the end and am glad I did. Recipients actually found it enjoyable and fun! The plastic toy actually held up surprisingly well and was intuitive enough for a 7-year-old to figure out. To be honest, even the adults couldn’t help themselves and designed a few of their own meandering paths to send their character through. Oddly entertaining and addictive... The wind-up mechanism might be a little difficult for younger children to place carefully on the track, but they’ll get it with some trial and error. Can’t judge a book by its cover sometimes. Doubt that this will make it into your intended recipient’s funnest-game-of-all-time shelf, but should still provide for a fun afternoon or evening. Reminiscence about your own childhood as you play with this yourself or alongside said recipient. Fun times!

The suggested age for this game is right on. It's not really for younger toddlers. Although the prices are of good size it would be a little hard for young toddlers to get the idea of how to play. It's very cute and I love the idea of kids learning to figure out how to problem solve to get to the finish line. The little squirrels with their bucket of acorns is so adorable and the kids do understand that they will have to solve the issue of turning the peices so that they willingly work if they are put into the right direction. The road prices are large and the lines are easily visible so that they will be able to line up. Bright and different colored peices also captures their attention. Diffenately a problem solving game for the recommended age range 4 to 8( adult). It's a good game to teach children valuable lessons like patience and problem solving. It's can be a single player or multiple. Plus it can be portable as well. Right out of the box it's ready to play.

There should be replacement squirrels for purchase because they brake pretty quickly my son loved it otherwise it’s just a shame we have to throw it away because we can’t get anymore squirrels

This is a great toy. It’s well made and easy to setup. It is a nice size and fits well on coffee table, which is what I prefer.The squirrel travels through the puzzle easily.It is a challenging and will provide lots of benefits time to learn while playing
