This seat is made by the same manufacturer as stamped on my original JD seat on my LX255 except without the JD logo. Super easy 5 minute replacement. Excellent value, quality packaging in sturdy box. Quick shipment.

fits lx279 and gx345 perfect, very comfortable and feels like a new factory cushion, not a hard foam at all, the corners wrap up my frame and hold 170lb person very good, unsure how long it will hold up since the outer layer skin is tad softer than factory vinyl or my old seat was just broken down to much, my factory one cushion pulled away from hard back, came unglued also had major cracks. For a cover i use a John Deere Mid-back Seat Cover Model 92324, i got them at my local big box store to prevent scuffs and scratches, fits perfect. Originally, i bought the carnelsales seats unlimited foam vinyl one, and it was just to firm, as the outside layer didn't give as much, and didn't wrap around, but it cost less to, cheaper isn't better in this case. i like this sten one instead and its made by the same company as the original one, can't get the oem anymore, as they replace them with a completely different 2 cushion setup and much higher price. wish i would have gotten the sten the first time.

Replaced my 20 yr old JD LX279 yard tractor seat with this seat. All I can say it’s worth every penny compared to the OEM Deere seat. It took less than 5 mins to install, the seat switch fit exactly like it should and after 3 hours of cutting my rear end was still seated and pretty darn comfortable. 110% recommended, as long as you don’t want the JD logo on the back, but then again is that Deere logo worth over $200 more? I think not!

This replaced the seat on my LX280. It is a good replacement in size and installation. The quality of the seat covering is good but not as high as the original. An economical alternative.

My OEM seat was showing signs of wear at an accelerating rate so I decided to purchase a new one for my wonderful John Deere 345 which is about twenty years old. It is stored indoors so it isn't exposed to the elements other than usage for lawn mowing hauling mulch, towing the sprayer, fertilizer spreader sweeper etc. In other words, it gets a lot of use with frequent on and off the tractor during some tasks. The installation couldn't be easier requiring only a small blade screwdriver and about five minutes including removal and replacement of the operator presence switch. The only difference that I see other than missing the John Deere logos is the drain is different and the hard plastic base has some different indentations but that is all. The mounting tabs look to be identical as the rod slid right in. This was a great value from a wonderful vendor who shipped it promptly and it arrived quickly. As the title says it is manufactured by the same people who made the original seat and make the one John Deere sells as a replacement. The logos were not worth the extra fifty + dollars. I found some elsewhere for about five dollars that look just fine. I would certainly recommend both this seat and the vendor.

I bought this for my Deere GX345. I feel it's a great product: color, size, materials, quality and fit. It arrived quickly and took less than a minute to install, including swapping the safety switch. I just removed the hinge pin from the old seat and re-used it for the new one. Great value for the money. Perfect!

This seat was an exact replacement for the original seat that was torn and worn out from 22 years of use. It mounts in exactly the same way, the seat switch mounts in the same way without any modifications. The molded base is the same and the labeling indicates that it was made by the same manufacturer that made the original seat. The only difference appears to be that there are no "John Deere" logos molded into the plastic. This is much easier and better looking than trying to tape and glue the old seat back together!

The seat fits on my father's John Deere LX277 perfectly and is a great replacement seat. No complaints and he says that it is actually more comfortable compared to the original.

Exactly like the original just no John Deere decal. Bought it so called used, at half the price, and it was in perfect condition and was just re-packaged.
