I got this 1/2 off on sale and jumped at the chance to buy it! It will save you hours at the store counter! If you replace a lot of belts then this thing is amazing to have on hand. Measure any belt and avoid dealing with the people at autoparts stores that can't figure out how to measure belts or always tell you they don't have the size you're looking for.

This does what it's supposed to do, which is simply measure belts. I'm 66, but didn't realize all the parameters of the different types of belts....so it's a little more involved than I thought. I laminated the instructions, so I could refer to the proper types and how to use this. Had to find a good-sized location due to it's size, too!

Quality is well worth the price. No more purchasing the wrong size belts. Would recommend it for the homeowner who repairs their own riding mowers.

First things first: this device works really well and is easy to use.There are only two downsides, only one of which relates to the device. First, it's large! I haven't measured it (and yes I'm aware of the irony there) but it has to be over 4 feet long... you won't be storing this thing in a drawer or cabinet.And second, Stens' order fulfillment department has some serious accuracy problems. I ordered 3 things from them around the same time (one of which was this belt measurer) and two of the 3 items they shipped were the wrong item.

This tool did exactly what I hoped it would do. Now I will never have a question as to what size belt I need. Stens is awesome.
