I ordered one of these stools to place beside the bed in my guest room because the bed is 30 inches off the floor and very hard to get into for most people. After seeing how well made these stools were and knowing they will accommodate up to 500 pounds I went ahead and ordered a second one which is this one. This step stool is very easy to put together, does not wobble once the bolts are all tightened down. Comes with the only tool needed to put it together. I would purchase again if needed and do recommend. I purchased one classified as used but when I got it the product was in never used, brand new condition, all bolts and parts were in the box on both stools I ordered as used. Don't be afraid to save money and order this one as a used product.

These are great! I needed a mini step that would permanently sit in our kitchen area. I wish it came with mounts to secure them, though that's probably something I can just get at the hardware store.

When this showed up, I was a little disappointed about the parts. I was expecting a very sturdy stool to use. But after I put it together, and we actually used it I have to say, I was rather impressed. Not only is it sturdy, but it is actually very nice looking. I have three people in my house that are 6 foot tall or more and two that are about 5 foot so a stool is very much necessary. Looking to buy a 2nd one.

Glad that it has such a high weight capacity. The only downside is that there’s a crossbar at the bottom. When standing in front of the stool my feet get caught up.

I bought this for in our camper because I'm short and can't reach things, get in the bed or slide out.It's absolutely perfect it's small enough that it's not in the way of everything in our small camper. Height is perfect for getting what I need and in and out of bed. It's light enough for me to move around but not so light that it slides.The step went together super easy and quick and the materials were not cheap at all it feels really sturdy.I totally recommend it and would buy again.

Tl;dr - Item is top heavy and will flip over when moving from the top step to the bottom step climbing down.I am genuinely flabbergasted by how many positive reviews this item has, and how many people refer to it as "sturdy". My only guess is that people are using this exclusively as a step stool and climbing upwards/stepping back down backwards, rather than using this as a step stool as intended for climbing out of bed.As an accessibility tool this product is incredibly dangerous. I got it for stepping down from my bed, as I have bad knees. Climbing up is fine, but if you try climbing down, the minute you transfer your weight from the top step to the bottom step the product will flip over on you, creating a massive fall hazard and defeating the entire purpose of the device. This is because the boards, especially with your weight applied to them, are significantly heavier than the thin metal piping used for the base.This kind of material is fine for shelving etc, but this kind of product absolutely needs to be bottom heavy to maintain stability.I tried placing this in various spots around my bed, and stepping down in various different ways to ensure it wasn't user error. Even when the stool was pretty tightly wedged between the bed and another piece of furniture, it still immediately flipped when stepping down on the bottom step.I'm average height/weight and have pretty good reflexes and was able to catch myself, especially once I expected it to happen, but this could be seriously dangerous for someone old enough to truly Need this kind of help climbing in and out of bed. This seems like a great way for someone to break a hip, or worse. I'm returning this and reporting it for safety issues.

I am so happy I bought this one. It was easy to put together and it looks nice and it helps me to get into my high bed easy. I am satisfied with my purchase and yes I would recommend it to anyone that needs one.

The steps are very cute and go well with my bedroom decor but they are unstable. I have put traction tape on the the bottom to keep it from sliding and the too to keep me from sliding. I fell off them and scrapped and bruised myself pretty bad every after the modifications. I will be taking one of the reviewers suggestion and weighting it down.
