Kids won't get pinched in this plastic sandbox, even though it's designed to look like a big crab. Its somewhat rounded shape takes up a space that measures 4 by 4 feet (and the inside space measures just over 3 by 3 feet), and it holds up to 300 pounds of play sand. Both the box and the matching sculpted lid (or shell) are molded from single pieces of red plastic. At the front, the big tucked-in claws frame two crabbily prominent white eyes. This is a great sandbox for a toddler. I was between this one and the turtle and I'm glad I went with the crab. It is very thick, sturdy plastic. The lid fits well and keeps out the weather. It's big enough for two toddlers to sit and play in. We did have a few dents made by an adult who tried to sit on the edge "seats" though. Overall I'm very pleased and expect this to last a very long time.

I was hesitant to purchase this sandbox because it ran much higher than the next comparable box. However, this box requires no assembly (which means no cracks for critters to get in), a solid construction, and tight lid. I filled mine with 200 lbs (4 bags) of playground sand, and it was an instant hit. The only drawback is that it has become too popular so I have to cover it up with a tarp when I don’t have time to clean up a sand-covered child. Shipping was fast (less than a week). From box to playtime in minutes.

We bought this so our grandkids would have something to play with when they come over to visit. It was a great purchase. It was very easy to set up. We just added three 50 lb. bags of play sand (Not included). It's the perfect size for two 4 year olds to play in together. It's made very study and its bright red color and cute crab design look great sitting under our backyard shade tree. The crab shell cover does a great job of keeping the sandbox toys together and neat, and it also keeps out the rain and animals when it's not in use. We're very happy with it.

I was looking for a Sandbox that is sturdy has a lid and can be moved if need to. This one checked all my boxes, and my 3-year-old granddaughter loves it and will be able to use for some time.

Good size sandbox for playing without taking up a lot of space. My 5 year old and 2.5 year old boys have plenty of room for both of them to sit and play without getting in each other’s way. We bought it when it was $80-$90 and I wouldn’t want to spend more than that, but overall very happy with purchase and kids enjoy it. We just used three 50 lb bags of sand and find that amount works great for us.

ho acquistato questo prodotto come simil-piscina per il mio cane in sostituzione di una vecchia sabbiera di 16 anni ancora funzionante ma un pò malridotta data l'età .la sabbiera è di un bel colore rosso , di plastica resistente ma non pesante, le misure sono circa 113 x 117 cm l'ingombro esterno, mentre l'interno circa 95,5 x 94,5 cm , alta 22/18,5 cm est/int.molto bello e funzionale il coperchio che evita che entri dentro qualcosa quando non viene utilizzata , forse un pò leggero .... e per evitare che con il vento forte possa volare via, utilizzo delle cinture tipo quelle per fissare i bagagli.il pacco è arrivato in perfette condizioni ed in notevole anticipo rispetto al previsto.
