Effective as the foundation of a harm reduction strategy inspired by the SterifiltÂ®ï¸ widely available across Europe. The 13mm, PES 0.22 μ membrane is the perfect size, membrane material & porosity for the relatively low volume of solution & antibacterial effect typically being filtered in harm reduction processes. Pre-filtering through cotton (or >5 μ wheel filter) is necessary in order to achieve the high level of filtration (antibacterial, micron particle removal, etc.) achieved with these 0.22 μ wheel filters.I also found female to female luer couplers to transfer filtered solution to another syringe 💉 from which the final individual portions can be distributed. IMO, these particular filters are the ideal make/model for beginning an effective harm reduction strategy, along with many other variables (using bacteriostatic saline, sterile tools, etc) to consider for maximum benefit.
