I was looking for a 1 gallon pitcure to use to make ice tea. I use cold brew iced tea bags. I like the fact that it is oval instead of round. It fits in the refrigerator much better and it takes up less space. It’s super durable. The lid fits on tight so it won’t spill if tipped sideways. It’s easy to grip and easy to pour. I would highly recommend this item.

Needed another pitcher separate from my designated tea pitcher. It works as intended. Easy to use and able to clean well. Fits perfectly in my fridge.

I've always like Sterlite products, bought a lot of them over the years, they are reasonably priced, sturdy and last forever. This container has a good tight seal and fits in my fridge better. I have 2 in the fridge and they are slim which is better than round ones. And they're made in the USA ! Best reason to buy them.

Durable! I bought 2 of these pitchers to replace 2 of the same brand that I bought almost 30 years ago - inexpensive, and they last! I'm an iced tea junkie, and these are my pitchers. BUT, sometimes you'll get one that's not so well-made. I've bought these a couple of times in the last 40 year that had problems, like an ill-fitting top (my iced tea leaked from under it when pouring), or the little round push-down dispensing cap was too big, and wouldn't stay in place. Needless to say, THOSE didn't last. But the ones that don't have fit problems will be with you for a long, long time.

I bought this so we could brew hot water in and then use for ice. Fits in fridge well without taking much room as our gallon jug was. We’re two old people that like our tea!

My dad got one at the store a long time ago and part of the lid went missing and the replacement was a no go because the shape was all wrong, and I was in the market for a pitcher myself and guess what I found the pitcher so I got one for myself and one for my dad. I love this pitcher because you filll 2- 3 inches from the top with and mix in the drink mix and you're golden. The pitcher has a nice shape so putting it in the fridge doesn't take up an awkward amount of space it's light but the and I know the lid will give out before the pitcher but being my dad had his for 5 years and would have lasted long if they didn't lose the lid part, I know I'm going to have it for years

I bought this pitcher to hold sugar. The handle makes it easier to lift off a shelf instead of a cannister. It's sturdy, and the cap tilts for pouring. It's not airtight, but I don't need it to be. I'm going to buy another one to hold flour.

Nice and sturdy, but awkward to use. The handle, while strong and secure, is not mounted at a good balance point, causing a fair amount of wrist strain.The opening for the pouring spout requires both thumbs to be used with a great deal of force and sometimes pop completely out. If you use it to mix instant drinks (for example, Crystal Light), do it over the sink and expect to get a bit wet if you shake it to mix.On the up side, they fit well in a traditional fridge and fit two deep along the side, taking up relatively little space and are easy to clean.Overall, they're not bad, but for $11, I expected better -- especially from Sterilite.

The container is large and exactly what we were looking for to store water for the family in the fridge. After a few months of use, It appears sturdy and meets our needs, aside from a wonky spout cover which seems uncharacteristically poorly designed.I'm not sure spout cover will last as it should and as long as the rest of the pitcher; however, having said that, it has stood up well over the past couple of months, considering it is an item that has been filled about once per day and dispenses water about 10 times per day.
