This is the perfect size for dishes, glassware etc. Very difficult to find in store. EXCELLENT!Also, one customer said it was hard to clean because you can't separate the base from the rack. My husband has found a great way to overcome that ... he fills the kitchen sink with water and a little Clorox, and then places the dish rack in the sink. After a little soaking, all the stains are gone and the dish rack is clean and sterilized. We've been doing this for years and it works like a dream!

This is your classic oversized dish drainer that's large enough for pots and pans, too. It's lightweight and durable, and is easy to clean right in the sink with some soapy water.

I had some misconceptions about this product before I bought it. I thought it would be as strong of plastic as our prior dish rack by the same company, but it was thinner plastic. The other one lasted us over 20 years. I also thought it would be the same size, but this one is quite a bit smaller, so less dishes can fit in it. I also thought 2 piece meant the drainer and the bottom tray that water drains onto. I was very surpised that two full dish drainers arrived. I'm not sure what I'll do with the second one - maybe put it in my daughter's hope chest? If this one breaks before she moves out, I guess I'll have a second one ready :)

This dish rack replaced a very similar Sterilite one I've had for a few years, and it does the job, sort of. First of all, it's slightly smaller than in the past, in all dimensions. The utensil compartment is lower on one side, so things tend to fall out of it. And most important, it doesn't drain. The back end of the tray isn't significantly higher than the front/drain end, so the water doesn't flow out. I put chair leg caps on the back legs to raise it up a bit. Additionally, the tray is thinner plastic and has a dip in the center of it where water pools, even when I've propped up the back end (see photo). All in all, I'm disappointed. Sterilite used to be a dependable brand. I guess it has succumbed to excessive cost cutting. Sigh.
