The border of the coin is made of 990 sterling silver. It has a spiral top and sterling silver is soft in texture, which will make it easy for you to install/remove coins. But when it's incorporated into the coin, it's sturdy and protects the edge of the coin, which is very secure. The border color of this coin is very bright and will make your pendant unique. It is made in China and of good quality.

It is carefully and beautifully made. But be careful, it only fits 1 oz silver coins with a diameter of 40.3 to 40.6mm. Specifically Australian silver coins.

Product is stamped 925 but in my scratch testing of this product it is not "Solid 925 Sterling Silver" it seems to be plated. It is a nice piece and does fit a silver eagle but not solid 925 silver. Description of product needs updated. I even asked in the Q&A section and the answer is misleading would not recommend product.

Haven't tried it on a walking liberty but it was slightly to large to fit any of my generic 1oz rounds on its own. I made it work by wrapping the coin in 3+ layers of electrical tape, clamped it in, then trimmed the excess tape.

Make sure you measure your coin or medallion before ordering because the slightest mismatch in sizes can make a world of difference! It makes the difference between being happy with the purchase and returning it.I am very happy with my purchase.

This is beautifully made but it did not fit my 2023 American Eagle dollar coin which is what I bought it for. I decided to keep it because it does fit year 2000 and 2024.
