We still have the Tripp Trapp chair that we bought almost three decades ago when our kids were little. We needed a second chair because we often have two preschool grandkids with us at meal time. The chair we just bought is almost indistinguishable from the original chair. Not only is this chair a great design because it adjusts as the children grow, it's a great investment, too. I expect our grandkids will be using these chairs with out great grandchildren someday.

Bought this standalone chair for my second child. Easy 20 minute setup. I already had the newborn and baby set accessories so just needed the extra chair. Only note that the chair does not come with the leg extenders, you’ll need to purchase those separate.

Already had the baby set, but it wouldn’t fit my old Tripp Trapp. Sold that (retained its value quite well) and got this. What’s not to love? Efficient and stylish design (if Scandinavian design is your thing), durable build, endless adjustability, and my 7- mo loves it. Clean up from meals is easy and I already know it’ll last forever.

I really wanted this high chair for my son and noticed it was on sale on Amazon. I saw a lot of the reviews were low due to bad shipping, which resulted in damaged products. I decided to give it a chance despite this. The item came in its manufactured box and then placed in a HUGE Amazon box- no wonder it came damaged. Usually Amazon is pretty good about using those plastic bubble things to help prevent any damage in shipping, but this came with none.Surprisingly, the product was not damaged despite the terrible condition the box came in- see photo.The product itself is amazing. Love how it’s not bulky (unlike most high chairs), aesthetically pleasing, and so versatile! Will definitely buy another once we have our second kiddo.

Love Tripp trapps, but honestly, save yourself not only a bunch of money but a massive assembly headache and find one used.On my third frustrating assembly attempt, and SO unimpressed.First page says to ensure you tighten everything thoroughly, and then with every subsequent step Ive had to undo everything (not easy when you’re properly tightening) to fit the next piece; over and over.This could easily have been avoided with a single note saying not to tighten anything until the very end. I cannot, with all of my strength, get the assembled pieces far enough apart (even after unscrewing everything) to add the final wooden seat and foot boards. Three of us have now tried.Honestly considering returning it just because of this.
