I've used other gaskets on my firebox, and they burned off this hasn't burned off at all. Works great.

no adhesive on the gasket material at all! had to use razor blade to remove protective tape! obviously been setting on the shelf past it's usable time!

It will turn brittle and break off within a few weeks. Doesn't withstand the temperature of a wood stove. Stupid. The stickiness burns off quickly so it won't hold.
