I absolutely loved that there were different colors, the texture was perfect, the paper was easy to work with. You can tell it’s quality paper when you make a mistake and need to change something, the paper did not tear at all. Works great with pastel but also watercolor if you use clear Gesso on it first , a couple layers to give the paper some tooth and texture.

Great quality pastel paper! The only reason I rated it a 4, instead of 5, is I wish they had a white paper only option. Otherwise the quality is great, perfect size for my learning artists. Nice and thick, too!

Boughy this for my daughter and I was pleasantly surprise by this affordable pastel paper. Despite not being sanded, it handles a lots of pigment remarkably well. The texture is smooth enough to allow blending and layering. Its an excellent choice for practicing techniques without breaking a bank. Highly recommended for those just starting out and looking for budget friendly option!

I know there are people saying that this paper is difficult to work with. It is NOT sanded and does not accept a lot of thick layers of pigment. If you are used to sanded papers you won’t like this paper out of the gate.However, if you work in thin layers you can build up beautiful detail. I am doing a study on a Shih Tzu face. I’m using pan pastel for the under painting and Stabilo Carbothello pastel pencils. I’m getting lovely detail and color mixing. I’ve used Brush&Pencil workable fixative once so far, before adding some white hairs and reinforcing some highlights in the fur. I’m halfway down the face and I can still see the paper texture through my pigment so I know I’ve got lots of tooth left.If you’re new to pastels and want a paper that won’t break the bank, this is an excellent choice. I’ve always been a Strathmore fan and I also recommend their 500 Series Charcoal Paper.You can master this paper, it just requires some planning ahead.

Llegó en buenas condiciones y la relación calidad-precio es excelente. Me encanta que trae hojas de diferentes colores para lograr distintos acabados y contrastes de color. Tiene buena textura que aguanta bien las capas de color. Lo he estado utilizando con pasteles al óleo.

Excellent article pour ma part, dommage qu'il fut un peu incurvé à la réception mais j'ai rectifié le problème en y mettant du poids dessus pendant plusieurs semaines.
