I love stride rite, and these shoes aren't any different, my toddler loves the style, and I love the quality and the fact that they fit so perfectly to her wider feet. I love that they have a "wide" option too. It makes it so even though they work great for my daughter's wider feet, we've been able to hand them down to friends whose kids don't, but they can still wear them because of the inserts. overall a great shoe and worth the cost

These are great! My children wear uniforms to elementary school, and I bought them these shoes as they match their uniforms, and then I bought them a pair of popular brand name sneakers. I assumed that they would want to wear the sneakers and would only wear these shoes with the uniform dress as opposed to the uniform with pants.; however, both my 6 and 7 year old daughters prefer these shoes to their sneakers as they both say these are in fact more comfortable. I would definitely recommend these. They are practical, comfortable and in ky opinion super cute. The only advice I would give is with young children make sure they are putting them on and taking them off properly, because my girls were not undoing the Velcro and just trying to slip them on and off and I did notice they were starting to stretch out the top of the shoe so now I make sure they no longer do that and all is well.

I buy my granddaughter these shoes in 2 or 3 colors. They work with every outfit. Very good quality and durability. The style is classic and fits her perfect.

My daughter’s first pair of Stride Rite Mary Jane’s finally got too small after 6 months of wear. We upgraded with this style when they went on sale to complement her maturing style. Super easy to put on with a large opening for little feet and the Velcro is very strong. Goes perfect with her nicer outfits but will pair well with just about anything. Will purchase again!

We have ordered the Lacey Mary Jane Flat a few years now for the toddler and it always performs well. The brown has quality appearance and will stand up to a few washes with no problem. The velcro stays reliable. This black 2.0 version does not have the same quality appearance. There is also Velcro on the right and left sides of each shoe. Some may like this but I did not see an advantage and it did not seem to line up exactly. The black was a slick vinyl leather-look and it looked less quality. The insoles and outsoles were the same great quality. These work well for school/day-care shoes and have held up. Just not the quality appearance we got with the original.
