I have two granddaughters, current ages 2 and 4. We have these Stride Rite sandals in every size up to 12.5. The younger sister wears the hand-me-downs; they are durable and long-lasting. Once I purchased a second hand pair and they lasted just as well. (Once I purchased another brand and the material or the thread became stringy and untidy.) The Stride Rite sandals wash up well in the sink with a stiff brush. We like the comfort and support for walking/ running. They go with everything. The fisherman style protects their little toes.

I bought two pairs of these - one pair for my 5 year old daughter, and the other pair for my 4 year old. Both girls love their new sandals! I chose these because they have a closed toe, but they are plenty airy enough to not get too hot in our Louisiana heat.These sandals are sort-of pricey, but they provide great support, they match every outfit, and they are durable enough to withstand the daily abuse that any young girl can put them through. Every year I buy my girls a new pair of Stride Rite sandals, and the only reason I can't reuse the bigger size for my younger daughter is because the white does get dinghy after an entire summer of wear; however, despite this one drawback, I still think the shoes are well worth the money I spent on them.

We have bought Stride Rite shoes since she began walking because of their amazing comfort and support. I ordered and returned four other pairs of sandals before finally ordering these. They are super cushiony and have arch support, which is great! This is a quality sandal all around. Our toddler is super active and these sandals have never given her blisters or left any kind of marks (even when it’s super hot outside and her feet sweat). She actually chooses these shoes over other pairs a lot of the time. I was hesitant about ordering white shoes, but they wipe clean and go with everything (shorts, leggings and dresses). We returned the “medium†with cause our little one has chunky feet, so we went with the “wide.â€

My daughter is normally 7 1/2 w, but that was crazy wide. we had to go to 7 for it to fit, so keep that in mind.Otherwise, she likes the show. It has a Velcro strap (even thought that is not obvious from the pic) so my toddler likes to try and put them on her self. The foam support is amazing. My daughter can run and jump in these, but they are still cool enough for summer. She's been rough on them for about a week now, and they still look really white and holding up, the quality seems top notch.

My 5 year old loves her sandals. We’ve ordered these over the last few summers and they hold up to the daily wear and tear of childhood. We love the versatile style. They can be worn with play clothes, to the beach or even church dresses. Add to that the comfort of a sneaker and you have a winner, well worth the price, especially considering they still look great after she outgrows them so I can save them for baby sister. We did have to go up a half size as they ran a little small.
