Perfect shoes when your toddlers are on the first stages of walking. My daughter’s walk has improved immensely because of the shoe contour, it has a hard outer but a soft inner part so their pretty little feet are comfy but secure.

We stopped by the Stride Rite store to get a proper sizing for my 1 year old daughter who had just started walking. We liked the Emilia style because it's simple but still has a little styling with the flowers, and also because of the heel and low ankle support that the shoe offers. On the lower heel, there's a sturdy rubber "guide" that helps prevent the heel from rolling. Another feature that seems nice is the bumps on the sole of the shoe. The Emilia has a series of rubberized bumps on the bottom that are supposed to give a better response from the floor to the foot.The store didn't have our size in stock that day so we bought on Amazon at the same price as offered in the store. At the recommendation of the Stride Rite store employee, we bought a half size larger than what our daughter was measuring so that we could get a little extra use out of the shoes. She's been in the shoes for about 2 months now and has really been walking great the entire time.

These shoes are really cute! My daughter is 7 month's old, crawling, and starting to pull up on things. I got these because her ankles are so wobbly, I felt that she needed additional support. These would give that...except that the she has a hard time getting on her feet and even manipulating around crawling because the soles are so rigid. After going to the Stride Rite website- I learned that the SRTech series of shoes are best for those already toddling around. I'm buying the soft motion shoes to see if she can wobble around in those a little easier. I hope that she can still wear these when she can actually walk around. They are very good looking, high quality shoes!

I ordered these as a gift. They truly are lovely. The gift receiver told me they did not fit the little one. So I had to get the next size. Surprise surprise they were more than twice the price I could not exchange them for what I paid. I had to pay exorbitantly. Not happy at all. I'll never be stung by these people again.

I have a foster grand baby who is behind her age group in walking but the Stride Rite shoes have help tremendously in balance, foot position and stability! I have selected the stride Rite as her age progresses for this reason. LSL

I went on some advise to order a little bigger. I went half size bigger and they are much bigger than expected. Eventually she will fit into them but not for awhile. I do really like the shoes!!! Great quality will give the support that I was looking for.
