These are fantastic. They were a little big for my 20 month old, but now that he is 3, it fits much better. My son is 50% for height and weight as a 3 year old and there's lots of slack left in the straps. When I first got them, I had to cross the straps. For a 2 year old, it's a little too big. It's well made and durable. My son has had several spills on his bike. This definitely saved many scraped knees and elbows. The straps do get a little twisted up with time but the Velcro remains effective after 7 months. My son is also able to run with the knee pads on so they are not too restricting.

This is our second set of these pads. My oldest wore them from 2-6 years old. She used them for bike riding, roller skating, and riding her scooter. These saved her from lots of scrapes and falls. One of the straps on the knee pad finally broke after four years of constant use. My 2 year old just received a set and they fit her perfectly and have already saved her knees from a couple scrapes. They are a great size for kids and grow with them. I highly recommend.

Surprisingly, it fits my 24 month old son who is in the 25th percentile in weight. And there seems to be plenty of room left for him to grow into for the next 2-4 years. I will agree with one other reviewer that the straps are slightly short so you have to keep threading them through each time you put it on which is time consuming considering you have a toddler eager to ride his bike. But they are really sturdy and seem to protect his knees and elbows really well. Overall, I'm really glad I bought them and would definitely recommend them to others.

I like the product but their claims that they fit 18 months to 5 years are not true. The elbow pads do not fit my almost 4 year old who, while small for his age, is DEFINITELY not the size of an 18 month old. I am going to keep them as if I dress him in extra clothes I can get them to stay on but I am not happy with the sizing at all. The knee pads do just fit over trousers. I really do wish I could find ones that really fit him properly and I was so sure these would be the ones. The product itself seems great (hence me giving it four stars) just please don't order them for your small child thinking they will fit.

High quality, excellent protection, toddler/preschooler size. These are easy to put on and provide excellent protection. My granddaughter is 2-years-old and the knee pads are a little on the big side for her (she's average height and weight for her age). As long as she wears them over long pants, they stay up. I think they will last at least a couple of more years (durability and size-wise). She rides a scooter and balance bike and these have helped her build confidence and avoid nasty scraped knees when she falls.

Got these for my 2 year old - they fit great and really do work to protect.When she isn't using them my 8 year has used them as she couldn't find her other set. They fit great on her too!These are great for the price and quality and protect as they should. I will be buying another set for my other kid eventually.Pros - Cost, Quality, Great fit for lots of different size kids,Con - Found it hard for a kid to put on by themselves - other than that nitpick... they're fantastic.

I don’t have any knowledge of how these pads might protect elbows and knees because they are WAY WAY too big for my 42 lb 3 year olds. The company decided to make the Velcro strips 1in long and that inch ends at least half an inch from where we need it to start in order to fit. If we stick the pads on by overlapping as little as possible there is a huge tail of unused strap (that my kid hates) and they still slide down his arm and off the elbow. The straps (not the pads) actually fit me perfectly and I’m almost 100 lbs over their target audience. My sons wore them with long sleeve shirts and they *might* fit with thick coats, but we live in Phoenix so that doesn’t apply to us. We might keep them if I can sew a fix to the problem, but likely they are going back.Bottom line: The straps should CLEARLY be smaller and the cost-saving decision to use a tiny strip of Velcro rather than a full length makes them all but useless for kids under 50 pounds or so.

Gave these as part of a second birthday present along with a balance bike. They would be loose if not for jeans and coat underneath. When we first tried them on, I showed my daughter how to walk on her knees in them. This demonstrated to me they fit well and showed her that her movement was not impeded by the extra garment. She looks extra cute and I have the satisfaction of knowing I've done what I can to help her in a fall.

We love that we were able to find such tiny pads for our adventurous cycling daughter when she was just two, but the fabric has become unstitched, so the sewing isn't of the greatest quality. Other than that, I'm grateful that this size was available. She's now four and she still wears the pads when doing kiddie stunts.

Il mio dubbio era che fossero troppo grandi vista l'età della bambina, invece vanno benissimo e le potrà sfruttare almeno due o tre anni. Con Amazon tutto bene come al solito! !
