Design idea great but the execution far from excellent. Over priced glass carafe with ill-fitting wooden collar & gapping filter...thought it would be easier to use than a French press but no... IMHO don't waste your money

This is a pretty nice Chemex style pour over. It’s a good size for when you have a couple of people over. The filter this comes with is fantastic - for the longest time I preferred paper filters because the metal ones just didn’t do a good job of holding the coffee in long enough. This one is perfect. The glass on this is a little thinner than I would like, and you can very clearly see the seam. As someone else pointed out, it would have been a little more helpful as well, if they had made a deeper spout for this, but, hey, overall it works really well and for now, I have something that will make a great cup of coffee for company. As far as the tether is concerned, I discovered that a while back with a smaller version I have, that if I just switch the little wooden bead to the back side of the pour over, and not under the spout and it works great - nothing gets in the way or on the cord and bead that way (not sure why they don’t give it to you like that). Also, if this is your first time using a pour over, please don’t go by their (photoshopped) pictures and suggestions on how to make it. Look on youtube and you’ll get some great advice for that perfect cup. You probably won’t want to make your coffee any other way after!

Both Arrived broken and shattered. There is obviously a QC issue with the product manufacturer for not properly wrapping the glass in bubble wrap and stating on the outside Fragile - Glass
