I purchased these hooks expecting them to rely solely on suction, but that’s not the case. The backing uses a combination of self-adhesive glue and suction, which is not disclosed on the product page. This misleading omission is frustrating, as their performance has been very inconsistent.I initially placed one in my bathroom for a towel and another by the door to hold my keys. The bathroom hook fell in the middle of the night, waking me up, while the one holding my keys stayed up. On another day, the key hook randomly fell while the bathroom one remained secure. It’s baffling—if they can stay up all day, why do they randomly fall without warning?I moved them to a glass surface, where they seem to hold better for now, but it’s unclear how long they’ll last under weight. Every time they fall, the adhesive weakens further, and the suction alone isn’t strong enough to support much weight.Interestingly, removing them isn’t the challenge the instructions suggest. While the directions say to use a blow dryer to lift them off, I’ve found it very easy to remove them without any tools. I believe this ease is due to the adhesive losing its stickiness from repeated failures. This further highlights their unreliability, as they continue to fall unexpectedly despite being placed on high-quality surfaces in my apartment. Overall, they do not perform as advertised and are not a trustworthy solution for holding items.

I used the product as hooks on the back of the door as robe hangers constantly falling,yes the surface is flat, the stickiness just isn’t right. Great ideas but need more work.
