After our 5 month old female kitten was spayed she was wild with activity and licked her incision open overnight (I took the cone off because she was so disoriented with it on). After another trip to the vet to get stitched back up we ended up crating her and trying this recovery suit. She was confused at first but ended up getting used to it quickly. She is even able to use the bathroom with it on easily. She makes no attempt to even lick her abdomen. We even bought another one so I can wash one and she can always have one on. We plan to let her out of the crate and continue to wear the bodysuit for a full 14 days. We bought a size XXXS. She is almost 6 lbs and almost 6 months old and the fit is perfect. It’s snug so she can’t get it off but is stretchy. It also washes well. I let it air dry. I hope this helps someone who is on the fence. Trust me, this option is cheaper and less time consuming than taking your cat back to the vet for a repair.

This recovery suit is absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the buy. My cat had surgery done and had a long incision going from under her front arms all the way down to her lower belly. She would constantly lick at the incision and she also picked at and removed the stitches herself. I had tried everything. Little cat dresses - she would take those off. An ace bandage tightly secured around her belly - she would take that off as well. Don't even mention the collar the vet gave us to put around her neck - she flipped out until that thing came off, too.After taking her to the vet a second time to get her stitches put in again, I was desperate for something. I was looking on Amazon for anything that might help when I stumbled upon this. I thought immediately that this had the potential to be my saving grace for my cat. I immediately bought it and got it here the next day. And I have to say it is amazing. She cannot get out of it and it has safely protected her whole belly and underarms. She couldn't get at the stitches or the incision site at all! Sure, she moved around a little funny, as she was not used to wearing something that went around her neck and all her legs, but at least she wasn't able to hurt and open up her wound at all. My only regret is that I hadn't gotten this item sooner. I would definitely recommend this recovery suit for anybody who might be struggling with a pet who is a licker and who might be messing with an incision spot.The sizes do run a little odd, and my cat is about 7-8 pounds and skinny and I got her an XX small (which did say for kitten - but it definitely would have been too long for a small short kitten), but it fit wonderfully. When I measured her from the base of the neck to the top of her tail, she was 15 inches long, so that put her in the XX small range. It was tight enough on her so she couldn't get out of it, but it wasn't too tight at all. She might not have liked it, but this didn't confine her or limit her movements at all. She could still easily jump up and down, walk up and down the stairs, and easily use the litter box as well. The material is a stretchy soft material that easily moves with the cat.As I said, I would definitely recommend this. This has allowed me to rest easy knowing that when I might not be at home or if I am asleep and not constantly watching her, she is not able to lick her belly and cause her incision wound to open up. I am so glad I bought this! I provided a picture of my cat standing up in it so anyone can see how it fits on her. The buttons in the back snap to go around her back legs and tail.

I am not normally a review writer but knew I had to share this! OMG, I was so relieved when I found this & was able to receive it next day delivery! It literally was a lifesaver for my poor kitty's large surgery wound but most importantly our combined sanity!!!! After staying up all night witnessing my miserably sick post surgery kitty hide in her litter tray, THRASHING around trying get the cone of shame off her neck, I was desperate to find another solution! Honestly, She did NOT love the suitical & she was not happy when I put it on her & for the first couple of hours but, she got used to it fairly quickly. Since she needed to wear it for 10+days, I ended up ordering a 2nd suitical a day later so that I could remove & wash one every other day.I orderered the xxs size & it was a good fit for my long / slim 8 pounder but I would not want it any smaller. I did find that the shoulders & neck were pretty snug so I pulled and stretched on the fabric a bit before putting them on her & then made further stretching/ adjustments around the neck, shoulders & abdomen where her stitches/wound was. Basically, the quality of the fabric & perfect amount of stretch allowed me to custom fit/adjust the suits to make them comfortable yet secure. I actually thought the snug fit may have been comforting to her. I was worried about rubbing of the fabric against her stitches but, I checked them daily & there were no issues whatsoever. The suit also seemed to be pretty breathable & she healed perfectly! Also, the design of the suit & cutouts are perfectly placed & she had no troubles toileting & there was no soiling on the suit from toileting. They washed up great ( air drying is recommended). One pointer that I read in another review before purchasing & feel is important: Make sure to give your kitty some closely supervised time out of the suit every day so that he/she can groom. I would put a towel next to me on the couch every night for a couple of hours and let my kitty Relax, groom & spend time out of the suit. This seemed very important to her overall well being & hapiness while recovering. I would then give her a treat when I put other/clean suit back on her. Basically, I cannot recommend this suit enough!!!! It literally was a godsend, keeping my kitty cone free, wound safe, & also allowing me to not have to watch her like a hawk every second. I honestly don't know why they don't sell these at the Vet or any pet supply stores! Thank you Suitical!!!

Unsere Katze musste notoperiert werden aufgrund eines Fremdkörper im Darm. Schnell zeigte sich, daß sie leider auch einen im Magen hatte und so wurde der Schnitt etwas größer und auch die kahle Stelle von weg rasierten Fell. Alles in allem liegt sie zur Zeit viel und man hätte sie mit dem Trichter gut in eine Decke murmel können, aber da wir sie auch alle 3 Stunden mit Flüssignahrung per Spritze füttern müssen, musste eine andere Lösung her und so bin ich auf diesen Body gestoßen. Unsere kleine Maus toleriert den Body recht gut, auch wenn ich beim anziehen ein, zwei Kratzer sowie einen halbherzig Biss abbekommen habe, aber gut, ich glaube ich wäre auch nicht begeistert wenn man mich in sowas stecken würde mit starken Schmerzen. Der Body sitzt wie angegossen bei ihren 3,5 Kg und sie kann sich sehr gut damit bewegen. Auch die selbst gebastelten Treppen zum Sofa kann sie damit hinauf und hinab gehen. Wie es mit der Toilette aussieht, wird sich noch zeigen. Allem in allem sind wir aber sehr zufrieden, sie kann sich gut bewegen, die Wunde ist geschützt, wird gewärmt und wir können sie problemlos per Sprutze aufpäppeln ohne diesen blöden Trichter

Ha sido una muy buena solución para la recuperación de mi gata en su esterilización, el peto impide q se llama la herida, permite q vaya al arenero sin tener q quitárselo y sin q se moje y además hace q esté tranquila y sin moverse demasiado lo q es bueno para ella ahora (mi gatita es muy activa) Es cierto q con el peto puesto anda raro y q a ella no le gusta pero menos le gusta llevar el collar isabelino asà q.... Recomiendo la compra sin dudarlo

Tchanee had her operation yesterday and the vet approved the suit. I am so glad she liked it as she is a licker when in pain. It keep her warm and doesn't make the wound sweaty. She walked like she did riding for a while but gosh is great. Toilet no problem either

Xs ist jetzt perfekt für meine Katze Main coon (7Monate) ca38,5cm vom Hals bis Schwanzansatz. Sitz locker und legere jetzt. Zuerst hatte ich xxs des war aber sehr eng anliegend um Bauch und Rücken rum. Was auch toll ist, ist das sie nicht an die Wunde kommt und nur da schleckt wo sie hin kommt, Pfoten Füsse und Popo usw. :-) , Ihr Geschäft kann sie mit dem Bodysuit auch sehr gut verrichten ohne daß er nass oder dreckig wird. Daumen hoch auf diesen Bodysuit und er sieht oben drein auch noch super aus. Und sie darin super süß zum anbeißen. :-) Und super schnelle Lieferung Daumen hoch , hatte es am nächsten Tag mit Prime :-) , was in diesem Fall auch ganz wichtig war wegen OP Termin.
