These color-indicating silica desiccant beads are an excellent choice for keeping 3D printing filament dry. I’ve been using them inside canvas and jute bags, and they work perfectly for absorbing moisture and maintaining a stable environment. The orange-to-green indicating beads are a huge plus... they’re easy to read and, most importantly, don’t contain the toxic cobalt chloride found in the blue-to-pink variety.The beads arrive vacuum-sealed, which keeps them fresh, but the bag isn’t reusable for most people. Luckily, I have a chamber vacuum sealer at home, so I was able to reseal the unused portion with no trouble. If you don’t have one, you’ll probably need to transfer them to another resealable container after opening.Overall, these are a great option for anyone who needs to control humidity. They’re effective, safe, and easy to use. Highly recommended!

These orange beads are combined with white, clear silica beads in a mesh bag to dehumidify the interior of my micro motorhome. I'm in the van a lot and I cook in there everyday. When the orange beads turn dark red, I popped the bag into the microwave in the travel center and drive them out. You won't believe how much water they can hold until you do this for yourself.

Product performs as described. Was able to "recharge" beads in the oven and reuse.

These beads work fantastic. I use them to help keep my storage lockup dry for certain items where ambient moisture can be a detriment. What's great is they change color when moisture is gathered and you can just bake them to remove the moisture from the beads and they're good as new again.

I liked it kept my electronics dry for months. They start changing color around 20-25% humidity.- I recommend using a mixture of clear silica with these color indicators silica due to toxic chemicals when microwaveing.- Also use the microwave to dry within 3-5 mintue increment sessions with a temperature not reaching above 110 °C with IR sensor gun.

Good price per LB. To get this price from other listing you will have to buy 3-4x the amount, which isn't always needed.

Good product for my 3d printer! Keeps my filament dry, I printed custom pods to put these into on my AMS. Have had great luck and ZERO issues!
