Really cool! We loved these but the description is incorrect. It says you need 3 AAA, but you actually need 3 AA for each tambourine. Also you’ll need a tiny screw driver to open the battery part of the tambourines.If you’re buying them for a special event, I recommend prepping them the day before.Overall, great product. We got the 6 big tambourines and they all worked great.

Got them for my friends 60 birthday party. Big hit at the dance. Everyone asking where we got them. Even the band members wanted to know. Definitely lit up the night and brought attention to the birthday girl. However, there were two that did not work so I returned them and had them replaced.

I ordered 54 of these things for an upcoming party. NO WHERE in the product detail or specs etc are there ANY comments that alert someone that these DO NOT come with batteries. The only place the batteries are mentioned is in customer Q&A. This is deceiving based on how the description etc is presented. I had to go buy 3 AA batteries for each of the 54 tambourines!!!! Buyer beware. The tambourine itself is great, but it DOES NOT come with batteries.

I ordered a box of six, and after tediously unscrewing with a Philips head to get to the battery compartment and inserting three AA batteries into three of them that did not work at all, I stopped trying to see if the rest worked. Never have I ever bought a flashing toy that didn’t come with batteries, either.

The Children love there tambourine very nice.
