07/2024 - Updating after another season and 2 solid weeks of use - TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY. This sucker is fantastic. We have put it through the wringer over the past two weeks, up and down every day, on the beach for hours with decent winds every day. It sets up in less than 5 minutes and stays up for as long as you want it to.Pro tips:- lay it out flat and stretch the corners as far as you can before digging a hole for each pocket. Fill the pockets with sand and bury each pocket in the hole you dug for it. The pockets can hold so much sand - fill them as much as you can. The more you fill and the deeper you bury them, the more wind it can withstand.- once the corners are filled and buried, place the poles about 6 inches in from the corners of the top and stand those suckers up.- if you don’t want as much profile, you can get away with 2-3 poles in the front, setting the whole thing up like a lean-to.- secure the poles with the elastic ties and you’re golden.Update! I called customer service today and they returned my call within 10 mins. They ordered 2 replacement poles for me and expedited shipping so I will have the poles in 48 hours. Perfect customer service!Hi! I’ve been on the beach this week and we brought my Sun Ninja beach tent. Here’s my honest review:So easy! Just stretch the tent out flat on the sand, pulling the 4 corner pouches out super far. Dig holes for each pouch and start filling the pouches with the sand. Make sure the pouch is filled to the brim and snug down in that hole, then cover the pouch with even more sand so it’s buried in that hole. Then place the poles about a foot in from the corner seams, rubber ball up, and stake them down in the sand. You can use 2 poles to do like a lean-to, or 4 to give you more room. Put the elastic bungees on top so they attach the tent fabric to the rubber ball and pull tight. You’re done!When all the parts work, it’s amazing!Pros:✅ the XL is huge and shady and has room for 4 comfortably, but you could easily fit like 8-10 people under the shade in a pinch✅ when all the parts are working, you can have it up in 5 mins or less✅ when you have it up and staked right, it can withstand a lot of wind, not just breeze✅ comes with a great carry bag and small shovel to fill the pouchesCon - just one:⌠we’ve had 2 faulty poles that get stuck and won’t quite fit all the sections together snugly - I’m going to contact Sun Ninja and will update this review with their response

I love the way this tent goes up and down so easily and also looks so nice when up .I have only used twice so I do not know how long it may last going forward but the fabric & stitching seem pretty strong . When filling the sand bags and stretching it height wise with the poles I would suggest not pulling it too taught as that may cause more stress and reduce the life of the thing but again novice here myself . I love the aqua color I purchased ... it is bright and cheerful . I have no pics handy to share , sorry but the color is true to marketing . It is not a tall tent . I am 5'6" and can stand underneath but not by much .Here are the cons ... the shovel is a child's toy ... you will need a proper shovel , LOL .The pegs for holding down the sand bags are also sub par ... light weight aluminum and bent with first use when I needed to hammer them into the hard packed sand we have by me . Soft sand prob wouldn't be an issue . All in all I love this tent but the accessories are a bit crappy . If one had the option to buy just the canopy and legs I would go for that and sub the rest from camping supplies . Oh and one more thing ... I live in Florida and have a decent base tan year round but my white skinned friends got some sun on their skin while lounging underneath so the SPF factors may not be something you want to count on . I love the canopy for its style and color and ease of assembly but you may still want to use a sunblock if your skin is sensitive . Mine is not and I found the shade it created to be very satisfactory . If it lasts me a few years I will be a happy camper .

Tolle Qualität, sehr groß, es hält auch im Wind ziemlich gut.Es ist alles sehr praktisch verpackt.Wir haben keinen Probeaufbau gemacht, sondern es direkt am Strand auaprobiert... der Empfang für das Anteiltungs-Video war zu schlecht, aber wir wurden der Sache Herr. Wenn man es mal gemacht hat, geht es sehr gut.Pro-Tipp: Wenn man die Tasche zu Ende ausräumt, bevor man die Säcke mühselig mit der Hand füllt, findet man auch eine Schaufel darin....so geht es viel schneller.

This is a photo of our trip to Sardinia, Italy. We bought the XL version and brought it all the way from Ireland knowing how hot it will get here in summer. We have two young kids so wanted to make sure they’re fully covered. It was quick and easy to setup and very stable even in a fairly strong wind. Gives excellent shelter. Everyone on the beach was looking jealously at us as they all had the standard small parasols.It does cost more than most brands but you have to pay for quality. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone heading for the sun. Enjoy!

This is great once it's set up correctly. The trickiest bit is getting the tension right and the sandbags aligned diagonally. It's definitely a 2+ person job to set up but if you're buying this you've probably got more than 1 person using it. When we first arrived at the beach there was little wind and so it went up quite easily. We went off to enjoy the waves but after a little while the wind picked up and it blew over. Took a bit to get it back up in stronger wind, you really need to pack a lot of sand in the sandbags (we originally only had them about two thirds full) and we made use of the little elastic pull tie things around the top of the poles (we didn't use them initially). After the adjustments it withstood the rest of the day perfectly even in quite windy conditions which blew down several other cabanas/shade tents. I absolutely love the shady space it created for our family of 5.

Tengo que admitir que tenia mis reservas con este toldo y ha superado mis expectativas.Practico Kitesurf y por ello no solo paso mucho tiempo en la playa sino que lo hago en dÃas en que hay mucho viento y por ello los toldos normalmente no me sirven o no me duran.Con este las cosas cambian, hasta la fecha lo he usado en unas 8 ocasiones y ha funcionado de maravilla, se ha estirado un poco porque si la he usado en dÃas de viento fuerte, pero se ve que todavÃa le quedan muchos usos más. Compré la más grande y el área que cubre es bastante generosa, hemos estado 4 personas muy cómodamente debajo de ella, sin duda es una compra muy recomendable.Como tip si la compran, los bolsillos para la arena los tienen que llenar completamente hasta el tope y antes de poner los postes hay que estirar la malla muy bien en el suelo, las primeras veces tenia miedo de que se fuera a romper pero aguanta bastante y es muy importante que esté bien estirada para que se mantenga de pie.
