I'm so glad I found this fixture! I bought it for my reptiles (bearded dragons) It did come with the Reflector and the bulb, but for the price, it was worth changing out the bulb for a Reptisun T5 10.0 bulb and saving the grow light for possibly a later plant project. I bought the 3 FT one and the 34" Reptisun T5 10.0 fits perfect. All Reptisun bulbs fit for the correct size as long as they are the T5. That is the diameter of the bulb itself! Correct UVB for ANY reptile, should be 2/3 the length of the enclosure with it overlapping where the heat/ basking light is, also with an option to get out of all the lights(hiding spot)! This fixture added with the Reptisun T5 is nice and bright!! So far, my Beardies have reacted well with better UVB! Don't forget to change any UVB bulb out every 1 year!! It came with 2 types of clamps, that both clip onto the fixture, but one has eyelet holes so you can hang (no wire or chains included) and the other one allows to attach on its side. Definitely recommend for the money and it's compact size. I might even order a 3rd on for my chameleon!

Why I love THIS light; the price is right, it can be easily upgraded to LED bulbs, it is low profile and not nearly as unsightly as other fixtures, and it is easily daisy-chained with other SunBlaster lights!I love this fixture for adding a bit of artificial sunlight during these dark winter months. It has helped keep my orchids going during these long winter months - when we have stretches of grey days, this has really helped. My other plants love the SunBlaster lights too (I own several of the 2 foot long T5's also).The slim profile can't be beat! It sits behind my curtain and is easily fully concealed (this is actually my favorite part of all SunBlaster products).

Solid product. Does the job great for microgreens. Good green growth, even did my garden starts with it and nothing got to leggy, like tomatoes can.

I have been going back and forth for a couple weeks now. Sent back new (but what seems slightly used) item immediately and was told replacement sent. Cool, I get it it happens, ordered another set from A DIFFERENT COMPANY (a friend suggested) because I needed lights for my plants they arrived next day no problem and been using since.Realized these Sunblaster ones still haven't arrived, contacted them again and they apologized. They said they would send another at no cost... yeah obviously! I already returned items. Another week passes almost and 2nd item still shows no movement, not shipped, and item is no where to be found. I"M DONE! Now I am just waiting and hoping to actually get refunded w/out the trouble of contacting amazon customer support.1 stay for value, i'd give it zero because this is nuts. 1 star for sturdiness because ALL 3 arrived broken. 3 for light weight because they were very light weight, but what good is that if they can't actually be used.Very disappointed with this whole experience. Was looking forward to trying these, now it's a HARD PASS for me.

Before I get started, another reviewer posted one star for this unit and INCORRECTLY stated that the physical length of the bulb is 20". This unit accepts the standard 22" T5 bulbs. ie. A 24" fixture takes a 22" bulb, a 36" fixture takes a 34" bulb, etc....and also, I never give five stars not because I am displeased, but because there is no such thing as a perfect product made by humans. I'm a little anal retentive...Back to business...I have spent approx. 3-4 weeks of diligently researching fluorescent fixtures for use in a 40 gallon breeder terrarium for a bearded dragon. Decided on a T5 fixture due to T5 UVA/UVB bulbs produce greater amounts than T8 units,but with greater efficiency and are just as affordable.This unit is the complete kit. Includes 12" connecting cable for adding more fixtures in series, 2 brackets for mounting under a cabinet, 2 brackets for suspending with a chain(not included), the reflector, and approx. 6' power cable.The ability of this reflector outperforms most other units designed for terrariums. It is much sleeker than other fixtures usually made of all plastic which, in my opinion, look somewhat junky. The reflector is plastic, but has the reflective film installed into it.After researching, the only other unit I considered was the low profile Zoo Med Reptisun T5 hood, which has a metal housing. The Zoo Med unit rests on top of the terrarium and some portion of the UVA/UVB is reduced due to the screen. The advantage of this Sunblaster unit is that it can easily be suspended at the top edge of the tank just within, allowing the sliding screen cover to open and close unimpeded. It is a fairly low profile unit, even with the reflector, and does not detract from the look of the terrarium. This 24" unit is long enough to provide enough light for a 40 gallon(3' long) terrarium and still give the dragon the room to get out from the full brunt of the UV light if he wants.Note for those planning on using this for reptiles:The lamp/bulb included with this unit is not a suitable substitute for a UVA/UVB lamp. You would need to replace the included bulb with one designed specifically designed for producing UVA/UVB.The only, for lack of a better word, complaint is that the black plastic endcaps do seem a little lightweight, but I have every confidence this will not prove to be a problem.I will update this review in a few weeks should anything change.

For my african violets it's perfect. Really like the reflector. Some reviews said it's hot. It's keeps the air around my plants around 80 degrees. Not hot at all. I have 8Mature violets under one light with room to spare. P. S. Take off the blue protective cover off the reflector.

I ordered this light for a little mini rose that I had bought because mini roses do not survive indoors they just die off.I hung the light above my mini rose and now have 2 rose buds and lots of new growth on the little rose bush, it took some time to get the little rose growing but it's doing great. When the weather improves I will plant it out in my flowerbed. This light would also work great for starting garden plants. Highly recommend this.
