Replaced all of the canned light bulbs in my kitchen with these bulbs. They are so much brighter than my old ones... which is what I wanted. And, they work great with my dimmer.

2700K, soft white, as stated (don't buy anything about 3000K for indoor use). Unusually bright for the stated 850 lumens. The higher brightness (almost too bright!) is greater than other 850 lumen led BR30's I have. This brightness might reduce it's life, don't know yet. Usually you are lucky to get 10K hours but this is normal (unless you run them on a dimmer). Don't mix with other led bulbs since the difference in brightness is quite noticeable. I have used many led BR30's and don't know the life of these yet, so will update review as necessary. One tip is write on the install date on the stem of the bulb. They are also a very good value which is typically true for Sunco.

These bulbs are the answer to my search for a LED bulb that comes on instantly and has a good dimming range. Did I mention that they are _bright_ when undimmed? I think a dimmer is a must-have on these bulbs, but that is exactly my use case.There is a very small random flicker when dimmed to nearly off, but I don't consider this a problem .. think of it as a candle-flame effect.I will update my review with a longevity report and any nits that I find over time.Update 6/28: I previously stated that "These bulbs even seem to dim toward a reddish hue, emulating real filament bulbs, which makes me extremely happy." However, upon closer evaluation, I don't think they do. The dimming range is still great, but the color temperature remains the same as they are dimmed. I really wish Sunco would come out with a model that dims to a warmer (lower temperature) light like some of the competition.

these have been installed in outdoor pot lights for about 6 months, on all night long, every night. no flicker, brighter than the 50W halogens they replaced, and for a fraction of the energy used. they also do not generate any heat. I don't usually like to buy Chinese knock offs, but these are actually good.

They suck. I've burned up 6 bulbs in less than 9 months. They started going after 5 months.
