The wax needs that came with our shuffleboard table was very fast and our kids could not control the pucks. Even for adults, on a 9-ft table it just took too light of a touch. This is a nice consistent wax that takes a much harder push to move the puck. Easier to aim for specific part of board. Also noticed that it is less prone to drift due to the table not being quite level compared to faster waxes. We were able to cover our full board sufficiently with about a half a can of wax, but it is a short table.

Definitely slows it down, which is good for a short table like ours. Plenty of wax for the money.

We have a 9ft table and this is definitely not the right stuff for it. The pucks barely slid through it and when they did they plowed piles of the powder on the table. Would not recommend.
