I had always used the cheapest discs for my business b/c I assumed the more expensive products would work only marginally better. Meaning they cost 4x as much, but only work twice as well.But I was wrong!These discs cut through the material (cast iron) much better than cheap discs and last a long time.Completely worth it.I really wish I had tried them a long time ago.A couple notes:1. These discs are slightly larger than 5" - probably about 5.25". So depending on your situation, you may need to trim them.2. They are described as being "cloth" backed, but they are not really flexible. It feels more like stiff cardboard.They are not like emery cloth such as you would use for copper pipe.

Really worked for sanding cement counter top. Wish they had 8 holes to suck out dust though.

Used on a drill with water and without. They are worthless unless your sanding drywalll

Aint half bad. They stick nicely at low speeds on my variable speed Makita polisher. Got these for a nice deal so i can't complain.
