Sunlite High Pressure Sodium lamps are a long-life replacement for your existing HID fixtures. This 70 watt bulb puts out a bright 6000 lumens of light. It features a medium base (E26) and long 24000 hour average lifespan. Standard ED17 bulb shape with clear finish. Use in street lights, parking lot fixtures, perimeter lighting, and other commercial and industrial lighting applications. ANSI Code S62. Bulb measurements 2.16 inches diameter, 5.38 inches tall.

I bought these lights for outdoor fixtures in our parking lot. I gave a pass to namebrand bulbs that were much more expensive. These are working out fine so far so good.

First bulb blew immediately when I flipped the switch. Customer service only wanted confirmation that the ballast matched the bulb. I sent a pic of the ballast labeling. They shipped me a replacement immediately. The new bulb works great. Thanks!

Just the way I like my light. It's not real bright, kind of a soft like, a bit on the yellow side and that's the way I like it !!!Don't use it like I used to, but have been working outside on the yard, and use it when I'm still cleaning up or having a fire ..... Should have ordered two but the last one lasted for a good 10 years, but like I said, it hasn't been used much for a few years ......

I assumed that because they have a regular looking base and are rated 120VAC, I could replace any bulb with them, that is wrong.These bulbs require a ballast, like a fluorescent bulb and require a special socket that can withstand the one thousand or so start-up voltage the ballast will generate to 'start' them.They looked nice and may be fine but, as I could not test them, I cannot say they are good, just that they visually appear fine.

I have purchased these two or three times now for my big driveway light that is exposed to all the weather.The bulbs last a couple of years, maybe three.It's installed in a dawn to dusk light (with a photo cell).I will continue to purchase these as long as I have that same light fixture.The bulb always lets me know when it's dying... it gets dimmer and goes on and off. Then I buy a new one. Good bulbs.
