Sunlite High Pressure Sodium lamps are a long-life replacement for your existing HID fixtures. This 50 watt bulb puts out a bright 3600 lumens of light. It features a medium base (E26) and long 24000 hour average lifespan. Standard ED17 bulb shape with clear finish. Use in street lights, parking lot fixtures, perimeter lighting, and other commercial and industrial lighting applications. ANSI Code S68. Bulb measurements 2.19 inches diameter, 5.36 inches tall.

Been using it for a few days and it works great. It's in a fixture outside the garage which runs from dusk to dawn. So I figure about 12 hours a day. Just gave it 4 stars because I don't know about long term performance. Rated at 24,000 hours so I figure 5-6 years life with my use case. Might update this in a few months or a year.

Bought this bulb for the first time in December 2022. It is supposed to be good for 24,000 hours. It is used on average if 12 hrs. a day. It didn't even last 1 full year. Trying it again to see if I just received a bad one the first time. If it doesn't last longer this time, it will be my last purchase from this brand.

Works great, no issue at all. HSP light doesn't really burn out per se. When it turns itself off after a while, it's time to change the bulb.
