I decided to take up spinning a little late in the pandemic so there wasn’t much to choose from as most bikes were out of stock or marked way up. My must haves included belt-driven, magnetic resistance, transport wheels, a device holder (so I could watch Peloton classes), and cadence (or RPM) tracker. Thankfully, Sunny came out with this bike in the last month or two so it was in stock and priced very reasonably! Even though there weren’t many reviews, I took the plunge and ordered off Amazon so I could receive my bike in less than a week. The Good:Assembly was far easier than an Ikea dresser and took less than an hour. The bike is super silent thanks to the magnetic resistance and the belt drive. Also, I’m loving the micro resistance knob! While visible levels may be good for those who want to track their progress, I’m completely fine with judging how much to add based on how I’m feeling. For example, if the instructor says bring resistance to 50, I’ll take it to a resistance where I’m giving 50% of my strength. While I could have easily bought a wahoo cadence tracker, it was great to not have to spend the extra money! For those who are newbies like me, cadence is measured by RPM, so this bike does in fact track cadence. I was a little worried about the transport wheels since they looked a little flimsy in the photos, but they’re actually quite sturdy and they all me to swivel the bike easily when I’m moving it in front of the TV. At 150 lbs, I am able to move from seated to standing without feeling like the bike is going to fall over, it’s very sturdy as far as I can tell. And lastly, the price can’t be beat considering the features. I assume it’s less expensive due to the lower flywheel weight, but the ride still feels plenty smooth. The Bad(ish):Box came a little beaten up but the frame was surrounded by styrofoam so no damage done. On my first ride, there was a slight scraping noise coming from the flywheel but after adjusting the bike it went away so I assume I was putting too much pressure on the front of the bike. Additionally, I felt and heard a slight thumping noise each revolution. After some trial and error, I found that one of my pedals was too loose and needed tightening. The seat is wide, which may be good for those who sit upright when cycling and plan to cycle for an extended amount of time, but I am using this bike strictly for Peloton classes so I’ve decided to buy a more narrow seat. On their site they describe this as an endurance bike so a wide seat is to be expected, just not what I need. Some thing that may bother someone else is that you can only see one metric at a time on the screen; however, I only ever look at the RPM tracker so this doesn’t bother me. So all of the negative things I experienced with this bike were either not important to me or it was fixable, therefore I am not taking off any stars.Overall this bike is a great entry-level or budget bike. It met all my minimum requirements at less than $400, so I am very happy with my purchase.

My local gym was closed for months, was able to open for a short time, and recently closed down again. So during this COVID time, I need something that I can do at home. I live in MN, and exercise outside in the winter is not an option for me. I have not taken a spin class for 15 years, but a spin bike is more in my budget than a treadmill. Plus, treadmills need a lot more space and when they break down the fixing can be pricey. So, spin bike, here we go!Like other reviewers, I wanted a Peloton, however, let's be real if you are looking at this bike, spending $2500 on a bike plus monthly subscription of $40 is probably not in your budget either! You are benefiting from my research! As I looked, there is pretty much a bike for everyone's budget. I am keeping my gym membership, so I did not want to spend an exorbitant amount. I was going to get one with a belt and 45-pound flywheel, but then I stumbled upon this one. The availability, magnetic wheel, price, super fast Amazon Prime shipping, the iPad shelf, and the "computer" are what sold me. I have seen a few reviews with damaged boxes, mine was fine, and I think the great packing job would totally protect the bike. It took about 30 minutes to assemble...thank you for your help, Husband! Once put together, it was easy for him to carry it to the next room (probs about 80 pounds). I have the bike in a carpeted room with a plastic chair mat under it. I will not be rolling it around, but I think it would be pretty easy. I am 140 pounds and am 5'6". The bike is sturdy, I feel totally safe when I am up out of the saddle. Speaking of saddles, I replaced the giant seat right away. I got this one:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0845PGYYZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1I may upgrade again or add a cushion, but I did not want to spend too much without being able to try it out. I have to (or should I say my backside has to) get used to spinning again! I knew the seat the bike comes with would be much too large for my preference. The size I got is more in line with the size of the seat on my road bike.I also upgraded the pedals. I want to use my road bike shoes (way more productive), so I got these pedals in the event my husband gets an inkling to go for a ride. I can clip in on one side, and he can use the cages on the other side. A nice compromise.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081BDDGJ8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1If you want to use your road bike shoes exclusively, I'd recommend these:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KC3Y0G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The bike is silent! I mean silent! I'm pretty sure the magnetic resistance attributes to how quiet it is and, there should not really be any maintenance. The iPad holder and the stat reader are great. I only look at the rpm's (same as Peloton's "cadence") when I ride. The tracker goes between time, speed, distance, calorie, odometer, RPM, and Pulse. It is important to know that this device will not give you the most accurate readings of your performance because it has no way of knowing your body size and conditioning level. So expect them to be relatively generic. I use my own heart rate monitor and I still have to get an iPhone holder that I can attach to the bike, so I can see my heart rate app on my phone easier. I bought the Peloton app for $12/month (I did the 30-day free trial first) and watch it on my iPad. The iPad is quite secure in the holder. If you have a ROKU, you can watch the Peloton classes on your tv! The bike does not come with weight holders, and it is kind of annoying that you cannot buy the ones Sunny puts on the higher price point bikes a la carte. So, I am going to pay about $45 to get them on Etsy.I think the reason the other Sunny bikes are more money is that you would not have to "DIY" them. They come with weight holders and such.... I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my purchase! I think spinning would suck without the Peleton app (or another app or YouTube videos)...I mean it is pretty boring to just sit and pedal. Ride on, people.EDIT: A few people asked for some pics of the seat installation (I changed out the seat), and the tablet holder.

I've put about 20 hours on this bike with it set to what I feel is a slight incline resistance for cardio. It is quiet, and the flywheel rides smooth. The only knock I have against this bike in terms of function is the drive train doesn't allow free spin of the flywheel when you pause pedaling (of course this keeps you pedaling which is good for cardio) like you would have on a regular mountain bike or multi speed road bike.Assembly: The drive train comes preassembled. The only thing that isn't just tightening bolts into preset holes is the seat. With that, you only need to make sure it's straight when you tighten it on. Speaking of the seat, if doing half-hour rides or longer, get a padded seat cover like the bikearoo or similar (see photo), wear padded riding bottoms or get a cushioned seat. As with all non-therapy stationary bikes, the seat isn't that comfortable, though it's much better than a mountain bike seat.Overall: Good bike if you need it for general cardio. You can't beat the price and save money versus other more well known brands. The electronics on scan mode give you the basics you need to keep track of a workout. I can't speak to how this works with riding network programs, but it certainly gets the job done for low impact cardio quietly.

Es bastante comoda y muy maciza, requiere algo de ensamble pero vale la pena. Es muy silenciosa y facil de mover gracias a las ruedas que trae al frente. Es exactamente lo que necesitaba!

This spin bike arrived on Sunday and my husband and I have used it every day since (5 days so far). It was very easy to assemble (although the box is super heavy) and the quality seems excellent so far - smooth and quiet. I am 5'2" (160cm) and my husband is 5'10" and fits us both fine.
