Just put this on right before the guests arrive. It's like having Machu Pichu in your living room. Make sure you get the HD version. No music to listen to, just a living picture with some bird sounds. I've bought the other Sunrise Earth series as well.

"Hey, wouldn't it be a good idea to film the sunrise at beautiful, sacred locations around the world so you can watch it over and over again?" Uh, not really. This is one of those things that sound good at the time, but don't come out as well as you think it might. What makes watching a sunrise an "experience" is being there. You get to see it unfolding all around you. You get to hear the sounds, feel the air moving around you and be at one with nature. Watching it on tv, even if it's a big screen and is turned up loud, just isn't the same thing. You can skip this one for sure!

The image that Amazon uses to sell this product is deceiving. It looks like a box set and for $43.78 which isn't too terrible. Don't make the same mistake I made. I've never heard of Sunrise Earth and just rushed in choosing between the few choices that are out there of Sunrise Earth which can be considerably cheaper. When my order came arrived today (12/22), it only contains two DVDs in a normal looking DVD case (not what is pictured). Each DVD has 3 episodes. Ultimately if you think 6 episodes are worth $43.78 then this is for you. Personally, I feel robbed and will now look like a cheap A$$ when I'm giving this as my gift to my in-law. Yay! :-( I guess I deserve what I get since I didn't take more time in researching all what Sunrise Earth has to offer. And that little icon in the upper right corner in the product image that you can't make out, says "2 DVD Set." Maybe if I could have actually read that before the product arrived I wouldn't have made this grievous error.Good luck!

Blue Ray is better, but this will still keep me watching the puffins.

Like the other gentleman said, whatever it takes to keep watching the puffins (on Skellig Michel). This is the best of the series. Made me fall in love with the Skelligs years ago (BTW, it costs a small fortune to actually go there). And, just to keep it current, at the end of "Star Wars: Force Awakens", I sat straight up in my seat and yelled "Skelligs!" when Rey hands the light saber to Luke (embarrassing my children) - because that's where that scene is filmed!! So I went looking for my copy of SE:Ancient World, it's lost, so here I am paying 3 times its original cost ....
