My wife had said that she was looking for a meat fork. With that I went into Amazon and started looking and found one that looked good and sturdy. When it arrived at our home it appeared to be sturdy as I had thought. We have used it since then and it meets our needs quite well.

This is an excellent, well manufactured utensil. Based on function and utility, it will serve its purpose without breaking the bank. It's not fancy, it's not expensive, but it is sturdy enough to pick it up, turn/flip, carve, or carry just about any food items you would want to poke with a fork. Stamped steel with full tang and riveted handle, I was pleasantly surprised at metal's thickness and rigidity, considering its economical price. Note its length, it will only serve purposes appropriate for its size. Sure, you will burn your hands with a 16 or 20 inch fork to reach the back corner of your large grill, which this one will not do, but you won't be able to pick up anything heavy or manage it with much dexterity. I use this to move and manage 9-12 pound roasts/cuts easily, for which it works perfectly.
