Installation steps:
1. Insert the provided panel removal key into the key hole of the bolt, turn it in the direction of the symbol to unlock, and the handle will pop out to the unlocked position.
2. Take out the sunroof sky key star wrench tool and pull the handle in the direction of the arrow.
3. Rotate the panel handle to remove the guide rail, and gently push the sky panel upward.
4. Remove the panel from the outside of the car to complete the sunroof disassembly.
Attention:
The panel is fully ventilated before installation. Remove the front panel, make sure it does not retract backwards and is completely closed from the inside of the passenger compartment.

I bought my used vehicle but it didn't contain a key. I've hemmed and hawed about it for a couple of years until I finally decided to get one.Lucky for me I got it when I did because then suddenly, something broke in my sunroof and I was unable to close it. Thankfully the shop I take it to could and needed the key to do so.So yes, great replacement key for Jeep lovers!

actually I have no idea how the original one looks like or performs but this key turns the lock without problem.little expensive prise just for key, but this is just my opinion.does it's job, so I'm satisfied
