As you know everything in the world now is made of plastic. But there are good plastics and then there is this cheap flimsy plastic replacement part. It will work, but gif how long ?

The part did not fit in the vehicle it clamed to fit. I had to use the old part for a portion of the rebuild and whether that had a negative impact I cannot say, but the repair did not go well.
