A previous reviewer identified that the tubing was actually 10 mm. I didn't caliper it to verify, but had no problem getting 3/8" hose and band clamp over it. Tubing exterior was a bit rough, so polished it a bit to make the hose go on easier. The tubing flare end and the flare nut are correct for 3/8" tubing, but the wrench size at the nut top is 17mm. Seems to have sealed up well with my '80's GM power steering control valve.

This has a 3/8 inverted flare fitting but the tube itself is 10mm (.393 OD) not 3/8. Not a problem unless you are planning to use a compression fitting like we planned.
