Received purchase promptly (to Canada). The lights were shipped in a box within a box with air bag fillers to eliminate bounce during shipping. No damage evidentWith initial inspection my overall opinion is that the lights are well made being 2-piece construction with a black PVC base and rustic bronze aluminum (?) lens hood which shields the LED light bulb from view and assists in controlling angle of light cast. Overall the lights are 4 1/4†tall from bottom of fixture to peak of lens hood (the base is 3â€). Lamps appear to be well sealed where cord goes into lamp base. ETL certification shows on tag. The lead wire is 18†long - which allows for ease of final placement of lamps - and is pre stripped for immediate connection to low voltage line. SUNVIE has even included their innovative wire connectors which makes it super easy to connect the lamps to the landscape wire. I had previously ordered these SUNVIE connectors for an older low voltage lighting system (Malibu) to replace ‘pinch type’ connectors. With the SUNVIE connectors included it should take only 2-3 minutes to complete a lamp connection, making for little time to complete your project if the landscape wire has been previously run.The lens hoods, with the lamps usually being in an upward facing position, have been designed so that water will drain from the lamp face.The bulb temperature is on the warm end of the Kelvin scale in the +/- 3000K area.Overall, the lamps appear to be well made and well priced. The fact they come with 18†leads and act as well lights provides for greater versatility in final landscape placement and ambience of desired effects. With the specialty SUNVIE connectors being included provides addition value for $$$.Would highly recommend based on my initial inspection and observations.

Last year we put out low voltage LED landscape lights. I bought the transformer from one company and the lights wire and connectors from two other companies. I bought 4 sets of flood lights from one company and spot lights from the SUNVIE Company. I have had issues with at least 75%of the flood lights burning out . The SUNVIE lights have done great. A few months later I bought a set of well lights from SUNVIE that shine straight up. I have not had any issues with SUNVIE lights burning out since I bought them. The one issue I had with the well lights is they would put out to much light when I tried to use them as a pathway light. The other day I purchased the new SUNVIE waterproof, shielded pathway lights to put in place of some of the well lights. These lights work great. The shield cuts down the glare, the lights look great and with the connectors that come with them it makes it a breeze to hook up. these were just what I was looking for. Of all the landscape lights I have bought over the years, the SUNVIE lights have been the best by far.

This is my third order and i have always been impressed with the quality. I was very disappointed when going to install the lights and I discovered they were shipped without the wire connectors. This renders them useless. All I want is the connectors but the only option Amazon offers is to return them and wait for a refund. That blows! There is no option to simply replace the missing connectors. The only option is to purchase connectors separately. Not user friendly! I wasted an entire day getting prepped for install to be completely disappointed! UPDATE: Although the problem was not with Sunvie, Amazon resold the package without identifying the issue, they stand behind their product 100% and shipped me out the missing connectors! Pretty amazing since it was not their fault! I will buy more from them!

Although the videos showing the product look glamorous, the product lacks the performance it promises. Easy to install - Yes. The transformer doesn't operate as expected. Hard to reach out to get further help with the product for troubleshooting. Ended up using other sites to get ideas how to assess what is wrong. Story not over yet, still waiting for responses to my mail messages asking for guidance. Is transformer bad? Possibly....
