Thank goodness this is here! My motor went out in my thirty year old bathroom fan. It would have been a pain to replace it. If you’re doing the same, keep your old one for parts. The new fan when was 1/4†too thick to be on the motor without rubbing. I just cleaned up the old one and put it on the new motor. Luckily the new motor has the same sized shaft. You’ll also need a small Alan wrench to assemble the two pieces as it doesn’t come with one. There also needed to be some adjustments to get the wheel to spin without a wobble. Easily done by hand.

This was exactly what I was looking for. After cleaning and babying the old motor in my Broan 9425 F Heat-A-Vent bathroom fan for the umpteenth time it finally gave up the ghost. This unit fit perfectly without any modifications: just tightened two phillips head screws, plugged it in and it works. The part shipped quickly and arrived before I was expecting it. I'm a happy customer!

Arrived quickly and installed easily. Fit perfectly and although this isn't an exceptionally quiet fan it is far better than the rattling we had.

The metal squirrel cage is very flimsy. We have had 4 of the 6 we installed fail because the metal weakened and would cause the fan to become very noisy and unusable after less than a year of use. We are no longer buying Supco's or any fan assembly's with flimsy metal cages.

this was not the factory brand replacement. it did work, but it's a very cheap knock off. I was disappointed with the quality.

I was displease with no tool to tighten the wheel. the spindle on the new wheel is not deep enough to adjust the wobble and does not make me feel secure because I feel it will shorten the life of the motor and wheel. the original wheel had a deep spindle and secured the wheel much better. It actually was a better design and was much more secure. I could not use the old wheel because the shaft on the new motor would had to have been ground down to accept the old wheels' longer spindle. With the shorter spindle, the set screw is way in back and harder to set. I guess they did this to sell more product. I has been recommending this company for well over 30 years and now I may have to go to their competition.
